Credit Analyst                                                  £20,000 - £24,000
Emersons Green, Bristol
 
The Finance Underwriting Team at ALD Automotive is responsible for evaluating credit applications and making decisions regarding whether to approve an applicant for requested finance. It is important that the decision making process is in line with business, regulatory and risk appetite and within agreed service level agreements. 

Purpose
  • Assess and make decisions on Consumer and SME credit applications in line with business risk appetite and company policy and procedures.
  • Protect the company from undue credit and regulatory risk
  • Respond to customer requests ensuring that all relevant information is communicated clearly and accurately
Criteria
  • Knowledge of credit processes 
  • Broad knowledge of UK regulated and finance industry 
  • Excellent communication skills i.e. written, face to face, telephone 
  • Proven research and analytical skills 
  • Previous experience within a similar analytical position. 
  • Previous experience within the Financial Services industry Good standard in IT literacy in particular Microsoft Office applications

The ALD Automotive Customer Service function provides market leading Customer Care and Telesales & Retention capability to ALD Customers, whether Fleet Managers, Drivers or Dealer & Broker Partners. Providing expert Customer Care and Sales for both the ALD brand and for our White Label and Banking Partners, the Customer Service function is crucial to protecting and growing the ALD brand within the UK market.

As a result of continued growth and our dedication to ensuring we're providing the best possible service, we're currently seeking additions to our Customer Support (Payouts) team. 

Key Purpose
  • Through the provision of excellent customer service to Customers, Dealers and Brokers, the Dealer Services Support will ensure all expectations are met or exceeded. 
  • To ensure that all administrative tasks within Dealer Services are completed with a high degree of accuracy to help support the business’ commercial objectives. 
  • To lead by example, by exhibiting best practice behaviours at all times
Essential Criteria
  • Previous experience within an administrative role
  • Excellent time management, planning, organisational and delegation skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail with ability to work to strict deadlines

​Customer Service Advisor                           £20,000 - £23,000

The role of Customer Services Advisor (Driver Care) is a vital one at ALD Automotive. Our Customer Service Advisors provide first line management of all incoming queries, prioritise requests, provide prompt responses and are responsible for the delivery of best in class customer service to any customers making contact with ALD across our multiple business channels.

The ALD Automotive Customer Service function provides market leading Customer Care and Telesales & Retention capability to ALD Customers, whether Fleet Managers, Drivers or Dealer & Broker Partners. Providing expert Customer Care and Sales for both the ALD brand and for our White Label and Banking Partners, the Customer Service function is crucial to protecting and growing the ALD brand within the UK market.

This particular vacancy has been raised as an addition to headcount in anticipation of increased volumes within our ‘Corporate Cluster’ supporting corporate end users/drivers    
Key Purpose
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company’s objectives, by successful delivery of best in class service to all customers making contact with ALD across multiple business channels.
  • First line management of all incoming queries, prioritise requests, provide responses within agreed service levels, and in accordance with our business processes.

Key Criteria
  • Proven experience in managing customer expectations and service delivery

The Credit Control team are part of the wider Credit Control Department, who’s function is to provide 2nd line, market leading customer care to ALD customers. Supporting internal departments with financial administrative whilst also proactively working with customers already arrears or facing hardship. We provide subject matter expertise to support our Customer Care and Sales functions for both the ALD brand and for our White Label & Banking Partners.

Put simply Credit control focus on the collection of overdue balances, supporting of vulnerable customers and the resolution of queries that are preventing payment. 

The key purpose of our Credit Controller is to achieve high collection rates through proactive outbound calling to meet both call and cash collection targets. However it is also true to say that ALD Automotive is committed to the spirit and principles of TCF with the fair treatment of customers being central to our business culture. This is a busy team who handle a high volume of inbound Credit Control and Customer Service related queries.

Essential Criteria / Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a previous Credit Control/ Collections focussed role.
  • Develop others by sharing own experience and expertise 
  • Outstanding telephone manner with the ability to influence others
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, report writing and presenting
  • Excellent time management, planning, organisational and delegation skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Highly competent in Microsoft
