Product Management is responsible for the product portfolio. From cradle to grave it manages the ideas for new products through to analysis of product performance and recommendations for changes based on medical curriculum and clinical needs. New product development is at the heart of the business, and it all starts with this team.
This is an outstanding opportunity in a pivotal role with Product Management being responsible for the full range of branded and factored products sold worldwide.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for key top selling products within the business
Understanding wider medical simulation environment, and its connection to the organisational proposition
New Product Development.
Lead the inclusion of digital technology into any new product development
Leading and management of bi-annual pricing updates across all business sectors and products
Leading and co-ordinating quarterly range reviews across all business sectors and products
Development of Community platform for the development of ideas and testing of concepts
Design and deliver product training to Sales and internal teams.
Mentor your team of product managers/executives/graduates, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
Promote cross-functional collaboration with engineering, R+D, marketing, and sales teams.
Develop product management career paths and succession planning strategies.
Skills, Experience & Background
Degree qualified or equivalent
Experience of managing projects from “cradle to grave”
+ 4 years’ experience in product management role, with technology being a part of the products portfolio.
Proven ability to apply knowledge and experience to a medium sized company setting.
Practical, hands-on approach, and an interest in how things work with the confidence to constructively challenge when they could be improved.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Numerate, ability to analyse and create conclusions from data
Good planning and presentation skills.
Desirable
A medical qualification or experience within the medical sector.

As the successful applicant you will lead on all aspects of UK tax (both direct and indirect), including tax planning and structuring, tax compliance and provide day-to-day transaction support to the UK Group operations and ensuring all tax filing deadlines are met.
Role Specifics
To ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and requirements relating to HMRC legislation for direct and indirect taxes
Identify, implement and maintain opportunities to mitigate the UK tax charge through efficient and effective planning
To support tax planning projects (where the UK is directly or indirectly involved) - eg M&A
Develop and maintain links between UK Operations and Commercial including the provision of transaction support.
Provide details of changes in tax legislation affecting pricing and lease contracts eg capital allowances, reporting P11D values to customers
Maintain good reputation with HMRC through regular contact and building a strong relationship
Manage the calculation and reporting of the UK tax charge at each quarter end and year end to group.
To ensure the Statutory Accounts are prepared in compliance with applicable IFRS for tax purposes
To ensure compliance of employee benefit reporting including reviewing all P11D’s for accurate returns and calculation of Class 1A NIC and preparation of PSA Agreement return
Advise the business of the income tax and national insurance implications of various incentive schemes and account for the tax associated with these annually on the PSA Agreement calculation where applicable
To ensure the Group’s gearing agreement with HMRC is monitored and adhered to including negotiations with HMRC
Provide regular updates to the Finance Management Team including preparation of UK tax forecast for the Annual Plan process
Required knowledge & experience
Qualified Accountant or Tax qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent)
Fluent in business English language - written and verbal
Computer literate with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products
Proven tax experience with a track record gained within a business regarded for strong tax control in a large and complex business environment
